There was a leaflet in my magazine advertising books for Christmas.  On the front was a picture of Santa.  I wondered if the three year old would remember who it was.  She did, her face lit up and she said 'That's Farmer Christmas'! :^O

Hows it going Huggles?

Not good. I got all the bottom giblets back in but now when I wheel it down to pick up the bottom thread my 'feed dog' I believe gets in the way so the needle won't go down. I think I'll glue the basket liner. 😐

If the needle is hitting the feed dogs (rough teeth that move the fabric) the needle is in wrong.

The needle was a bit bent I think. I've changed everything again and it's back to doing about three stitches then groaning and puckering behind. I've tried different material and I read the book and adjusted the bobbin tension! Get me!

It really sounds like a thread/bobbin problem. 😞

I'll see if I can find someone to have a look. My Mum used a sew a lot but she doesn't now. She might be able to tell me what's wrong?

I can't get it to sew. 😞 we don't seem to have a local repair place so I've asked on fb if anyone local can help. If I bought a new one how much would a very basic, go slowly one be?

I saw those but I'm a bit loathed to take it somewhere if I've just done something stupid. They're both expensive areas where people are more than happy to take money from innocents!:|
