I have very few curtains in my house as I mostly have roller blinds with 'mock' curtains either side. I have them in the bedrooms though for warmth & to make it darker.:-)

Can't believe it's November tomorrow, it's so mild.  Haven't even got the heating on yet which can only be good with the price of fuel!

My broom is in the menders being re-twigged (yes CK it's a real word) so I'm at home. Tucked up in bed but hubby watching 'question of sport' so I'll read. We didn't get a single trick or treater.

I don't get them either & I live on a busy main road. If any had called all I had to give them was apples!

We have been lighting the fire on an evening some night but thats all, we don't have central heating, we have storage heaters but haven't needed to turn any of them on yet, won't be long before we do though ............ its starting to feel a bit chilly in the hallway & landing when we get up some mornings :^O
