Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

:^O

so long as you know where the brakes and horn are, the rest is all part of the charm in having a new car!

we had a debate about naming cars the other day

i said women name their cars either male or female, but males its usually female names, male friend said never, its always male, hmph

you can see we talk about the important things in life:^O

i get attached to cars, so its lucky for me OH changes his so often, means it feeds my addiction to new cars at the same time!

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Morning.

CG, I just left the note you sent me (all received thank you) on my desk at work. OH picked it up & read it (typical FHG note with Huggles/Chickengrandma/Paypoo etc), & declared that he was not even going to ask what that is all about! :^O

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

I am back.:-) It's years since I have driven in Bristol & I definitely don't want to do it again in a hurry! The car is very nice & you sit nice & high up which is good for me.:-)

Damson hates car travel but will fold nicely into the boot space to go the three miles to the kennels.:-)

I'm not ignoring your post Maggie, I've commented on it on another thread.:-D

Remember that bunting I made for the gardener's granddaughter and thought her name was Mia?.....of course it wasn't, it was Maya 😮  This doesn't look very good but I couldn't think of any other way.:-(

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Yes well, it was either that or dump it because no way could I have unpicked it all, life's too short!!!

She's only five so I suppose if she can see her name on it she'll be happy.:-D

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

That looks ok to me CG, but like you say, if she's only 5 I'm sure she'd love anything with her name on it.

Looks like another late night for me, Son's girlfriend (newish - so I haven't really got to know her very well yet) has been staying this last week & was due to go home tomorrow, well she has ended up in A & E this evening with suspected appendicitis :_| they just rang to say she's being admitted so I have just got back from taking her a few bits n pieces & to bring Son home, goodness knows how long the poor girl will be waiting for a bed though 😞

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Not in bed...still in PJ's though. Aquafit started today but I had a bad night so went back to bed for a lie in.

We have gales blowing here & it isn't nice out. I will be staying inside & sewing all day I think.:-)

its not very often I come downstairs before I get dressed, for this very reason, I end up not going back upstairs for ages :^O

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

I don't think I've ever come from the bedroom before I'm dressed, it's just not a thing I'd be comfortable with.  Mind you, here I'd have to walk past lots of uncurtained glass to get to the kitchen and I wouldn't want to frighten the neighbours or any passers-by! ]:)
