Well here's a picture of the dress. I know it's not very good but it does look a bit better in real life and a little bit better still when it's on and has more shape. Black must be the worst colour to sew, my eyes are not what they were!

I really like it, and even though I haven't done any dressmaking in years, I only need to glance at your picture to see that there's an awful lot of time and effort gone in to making it.

CK, that is a fantabulous dress, I wish I was that talented. I still have yards and yards of stretch denim fabric sat in my wardrobe doing nothing. I keep saying I'll use it to make a skirt but haven't got the bottle to try it!
Have you had that checked out merlin, everytime you eat sounds a little to often to me 🙂 If i was yer mam i'd be saying " sit up right, chew yer food slowly, eat often (at least 3 times a day) but i'm not yer mam so i wont say it :^O

Thanks CK. I have manafed so far, but now I'm doing a P row and have to pick up yje same stitch in the row 7 below. (This forms a rolled bit)
I simple cannot manage to knit both stitches together, so I think I must be doing something wrong?
