 I've got lovely little piles of sand on me car...my nearest beach ????

Merc - my car has so much sand on it that it looks a different colour - you can actually see the sand on the paths and tyre tracks in the sand on the car-park.

When the ambulance crew brought me home they were moaning about having to clean the ambulances

The front windscreen of my car was full of sand this morning.  We went for lunch today and a friend picked us up in her brand spanking new red car which is covered in the stuff.

Got some more wool today from the wool company I knit for.  I've got to knit two cushion covers.  I've done one and I'll start the other one shortly.  Fortunately, they are done in chunky yarn.  I should be sending them back on Monday.  Can't be bad.

I grew up about 4 miles from Aintree, a place called Lydiate. Have you heard of it Chris?

Pouring down here today! Going to the quilt show in Exeter. I am working on the SWQ stand for a couple of hours & then mooching around the show. See you this evening.

We've had light rain on and off all day and we've a little bit of wind but nothing too bad.

I finished the cushion covers I was knitting.  Considering that I only started them yesterday lunchtime, I don't think that I've done badly.  Mind you, I was using chunky yarn and knitting with 10mm needles which are like telegraph poles.  I've got a cardigan on needles at the moment for Grace.  It's part of her Christmas present so I've got plenty of time to finish that.  She's already got the white cardigan I'd knit for her for Easter.  We also bought her a little pinafore dress when we went to Boundary Mill a few weeks ago.

With the cushion covers, Merc, I can't sew them up as the wool company do that.  When I've finished Grace's cardigan, I'll put a piccie on.

Got back half an hour ago. Rain & fog most of the way so I am glad to be back. I did have a good day though & didn't buy too much!
