Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

We dont normally have any problems with them this evening is the first time.  We loose internet but that is because we are on an antiquated system in the village,

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Hope that you get your Internet sorted soon Ed.  When I was with Sky, they were more trouble than they were worth.  It took 3 weeks for me to get a router.  On one of the many times I chased it up, I was told that they'd sent a router out, I had returned it because it was faulty and they'd sent another one and the status on the 'second' one was marked as 'failed delivery'.  As they hadn't sent one router out faulty or otherwise, they wondered why I said that they were being economical with the truth.  At least one of us was in whilst we waited for the router to be delivered.  At times, the router I finally received was more trouble than it was worth.  We are now with Virgin Media and I've had no problems.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

oh it's gone quiet on here lately.....I'm on me lonesome...

I'm a bit bored to tell the truth, I don't know what to sew, run out of ideas really.

OH is off now for 4 days, I think I'll see if I can scrounge another day out. Car has to go in for work tomorrow so no chance then.

If you have a sewing machine you could try these.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Morning all.

You're right CB, it is quiet on here at the moment isn't it?

The weather doesn't seem too bad here at the moment.  Off out to lunch today with my mum and a couple of friends of hers.  We're going to a pub about a mile away and you can get two main meals for £9 which isn't bad and the food's good.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Morning , its dry here atm shh dont speak to soon LOL

Buying a newer car is making lots of form filling  & trips to the post office , now i remember why i kept my old one so long 😞  It will be worth it though as i love my new car 🙂

Also trying to find some fabric in a certain shade for my expected grandson's quilt .   I have made my heart for the swap so thats one item off my list 🙂

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Lovely sunny day here. The lull before the return of the storms I fear. So nice to see it shine & the sea smooth once again. I will go up to Portland later to Textile group & pop into Tesco for supplies & then batten down the hatches for the weekend.

Here they are then. The two bags I made at the sewing retreat.

Bags 001.JPG

This one is oatmeal linen & cotton with two pockets.

Bags 004.JPG

This one is a bigger tote bag with pockets made from Bali Batik fabrics.

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Sorry not for sale as they are very time consuming to make as well as the fabric being costly. Glad you like them. Woman Happy

Re: THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

Twishy it is ok, I did get a gorgeous one from Dairy on the MDCC so technically I don't really need it, but it was so lovely.
