Evening all.
Have decided that I HATE windows 8 - "him indoors had a brand new lap-top earlier this year, and it has Windows 8 on it. The touchpad on it had stopped working, so I told him to download and re-install the driver for it. He just looked at me as if I'd crawled out from under a stone, so I stupidly volunteered to look at it.
Would have taken me 5 minutes max on Windows 7, but took forever to find how to access anything.
Well it is sorted now, after I had to fiddle with the bios settings.

Lovely dolls PCC. Hope that you get used to the new meds, it is always difficult when meds are altered.
I am a bit less stiff and sore today - wish I could get in the bath and have a good soak, but that is impossible so settled for a very long, very hot shower.
I am off to search the internet as I want one of those "double" rag dolls, one end a happy face, the other a sad face - I think they are called turnabout dolls.

I'm on windows 8 too. I was bad enough on whatever the last one was (could it have been windows 7? just a wild guess) you can see how good I am on the computer! but this one is just AWFUL!!!

I've had my lappy for about 18 months and it's Windows 7. It took me a while to get used to it. I've never tried Windows 8.

I know that some of it is just reluctance to change, we all have a tendency to prefer the old and familiar, but I really dislike this new version of Windows.

I made one of those dolls last year stroppy, but both mine were smiling.

That is annoying CB. I can understand that we have a frustrated coo.

Well, I've have finally finished the pink jumper for Katy - has been undone and re-knit so many times that I've lost count and I've had to re-write the pattern as I've gone along, but I'm quite pleased with it.
I have started another jumper in purple - got a week to finish it as they are coming to visit next weekend.

I have just sewn three reindeers, and thought I had enough thread for the fourth, I am 3/4 of the way round the flippin' thing, and I'm gonna run out of thread
When I realise I'm going to run out of thread I just can't help myself - I always try to sew faster and faster, to get to the end before the thread runs out...
