THE FHG SEWING THREAD :-D

I was embroidering three flannels with a name as a favour for a friend to give to someone.  The blooming machine kept leaving half the first letter off for some reason.  The flannel was getting a bit the worse for wear by the time I'd picked it out for the third time!  Did it in the end.

Evening all.  Thanks for your comment Merc about me being one of the talented ladies on here.  It is very kind of you.

Apart from going for a swim and a food shop this morning, we've had a quiet day.  I am thinking that next Sunday won't be like that because I have a feeling a certain 2 year old may want to stay the night with us.  That should be fun!!

Morning all.  It's a bit overcast here at the moment.  Not been outside yet so I don't know what the temperature's like.  I see that there's bad weather forecast.  I hope not 'cos I can't stand wintry weather.  It should be banned.

Hugs to all that need them.

Have you finished all the steroids now pcc?  You should have spread the last day's dose over 2 or 3 days to cut down very gradually.  Hubby has to do that every three weeks.  He has three a day so on the last day he takes two and has the last one the next day or he feels pretty rough.  Hope you feel better in a couple of days, and just look after yourself, you don't want to be ill over Christmas!! Woman Happy

Afternoon all.  It cold here at the moment and it's also a little bit breezy.  We've had strong winds forecast for tomorrow with gusts up to 54 mph.  I'm going out for lunch with a couple of friends tomorrow as well.  I'm also going out for lunch on Friday and I'm going out for my tea on Saturday.  Oh what a social life.  It's either all or nothing.

I've had a busy morning, I was up at 8.30 making mince pies! 3 dozen of them, some for work some for us. Then I had a friend over for coffee to tell me all about her cruise she went on with her sister, it was fascinating. Then I made some little felty gingerbread men for our lapels for work. Now I'm trying to type but my eyes are drooping....where's my fleecy blankie..........snoozing smiley.gif
