I had my Flu Jab last week,( I get it every year as I work for the NHS ), and I had no reaction either.
You can get a local reaction at the injection site, but you will not get a "slight" dose of the flu as it is not
a live vaccine and as such cannot cause the disease. What it does is cause your body to make antibodies
so you will have protection if you are exposed to the flu virus.

My injection sight hurts quite a bit today actually. I've never felt a thing before when I've had them at Tescos. It's just red and hurts if I touch it, nothing serious and will probably be gone tomorrow.
In less than 24 hours I went for an INR blood test at my GP's. They sent it away to the hospital ati-coagulation clinic who tested it and wrote the results and the dose of warfarin on a letter and posted it to me and it ended up in my post box. I don't think anybody could complain at that for service.

Afternoon all. We had our flu jabs at the beginning of last week. My arm hurt by my mum's didn't. We didn't have any side effects either. A lady who lives across the road from me can't have them because she allergic to them.

Reading my post back, what, two hours later? I wish I'd put injection site instead of injection sight!!

We've just had the mother and father of a thunderstorm and my internet went down for a spell. I've never heard thunder like it as it seemed to be one continuous rumble of thunder that went on for about 2 or 3 minutes. It was weird.

It's been lovely here, not that I have seen much of it. We had a great workshop making lunchbags. A good time was had by all.

Love the bags Maggie. They look great.
We've been threatened with more thunder for tomorrow. Hope that my internet connection stays on this time.

You are all wrong. Mine is the yellowy one behind it. It has pretty flowery teacups on it. Sadly not big enough for a bottle of wine but I will be able to get my smoked salmon sandwiches in it! They are quite roomy actually. Perhaps a half bottle would fit! lol
