I dug my sewing machine out yesterday. I had to read the instructions again!!
I've just done a nifty fifty lengths. I was there all by myself as they've all gone out for the day as it's teachers strike so they've gone to Norfolk. Getting the cover off was ok. Getting the cover back on.............................................let's just say I'll know how to do it next time! Daughter's always nipped in and put it on while I'm in the shower so I've never seen it cover over before.
It lowers your bloodpressure it seems, I just did mine and it's 111 over 76!

My sewing machine has been out today while i was feeling creative

Not had our sewing machine out for years. Much prefer knitting and then cross stitch. Must admit that I've not done any cross stitch for ages. The hats that I have been asked to make are well under way. My mum's doing one and I'm doing the other. They should be done in no time. Tomorrow, we are going to Boundary Mill at Colne in Lancashire. From what I rememeber from the last time we were there, they had a small craft department but I think that we will be getting more clothes for a certain little lady for Christmas and her birthday.

Just had a quick catch up
Carol I'd never have believed that was wig you had on in your pic if you hadn't said so, it looks so like the real thing & really suits you
We got back from a couple of days in Liverpool late last night & brought my little princess back
She decided to NOT let me have an easy day today & hardly slept a wink ........ she then dropped off the minute she finished her tea around 6ish ... that was far too early to put her to bed so I guess she'll be waking up again soon for a bottle
She better buck her ideas up ........... I've not managed a minute on my laptop or got any knitting done all day
I've had three txts today from Imogens mum asking how she is & telling me shes missing her ....... I feel so guilty that I have her

Here she is ........... snuggled up in my bed this morning
