It's a year ago Thursday she had her op to have a new cruciate ligament in her knee. She has to go to the vet's tomorrow, I think she's done the other one!!:_|
Looks like we'll both be on crutches at the same time.:O

Aww CG...she looks sore 😞
But it's amazing how quickly they do recover :-x

😮 I thought she was all white! Are you sure they've given you the right dog?
09-04-2013 12:29 PM
Oh yes, you could be right huggles!!!:O If you look on the top picture of last year's op you can see, she was definitely an all white dog!
But there again, if you look at the little picture under the writing, she had half a brown face when she was younger.:O
I've noticed, sometimes she walks past and she's all white and then when she comes back again her head's brown.:O Something must happen to her while she's out of the room.?????

Good to see she's home again CG 😄

Aww gentle hugs to Lottie glad shes home CG

Aww bless her :-x
It's so nice when you get them back home and I know they love it too. She probably did her "business" as a mark of how relieved she was to be home and in her own garden 😄
I hope she recovers well.
Huggles and CG..................now you both being girlies should understand exactly what's going on.................................Lottie has been putting her make-up on and taking it off :-)...........it's a "girl" thing yer know 😉 :^O

Hope Jack's had a better day? If not, perhaps a word with the vet about dressing the leg so no need for the lampshade or pain relief if that's the problem?
And glad Lottie's safely home and hope she soon feels better 🙂
Mine always came home with huge bandage to protect it while it healed so seems odd to see your two without anything.

If you look on the first picture of Lottie last year, she did have a big sticky plaster on until it fell off a few days later, so I was surprised to see she didn't have one this time. She still hasn't touched it though, but she's still in the bedroom, she hasn't been in her bed in the kitchen once!:-)

She's ok thanks capt. The inside of her thigh is going all red today, I think it's bruising and the wound itself looks a bit more swollen and sore, but I'm sure she hasn't been licking it. She spends all her time in the bedroom except overnight when she's kept in the kitchen. I didn't hear anything from her last night but then again, our bedroom is the furthest away from the kitchen!;-)

Just an update. She went for a quick check up this morning and everything is ok. She has to go again next Friday. She's pretty much her normal self, apart from the fact that she still can't put her foot to the ground, but as usual she sleeps a lot, appears if she can hear (or thinks she can hear) anyone doing anything with food, and is here waiting when it's her meal or treat time. She makes no sound overnight. The only problem is, we have a couple of steps down from the decking to the garden. She's not supposed to go up or down them and I'm not able to lift her up and down them any more. The problem is, she snarls when anyone but me lifts her up. Hubby will do it if he has to, 6ft son won't even attempt it!:^O

Glad Lottie is doing well CG , can you hubby build her a little wooden ramp down to the garden , my friend has one for her elderly border collie as he has arthritis.

Lottie sounds like she's improving every day.:-x
The ramp is a good idea for her :-x

To be honest, hubby suggested a ramp, but I said she wouldn't use it. It's worth a try I suppose.;\
