Happy cos I won some things 🙂

But sad cos the Friends of Bwindi auctions have been the worst ever - 3 no sales so far, 2 items still remaining but only one with a couple of bids (no-one want to stretch their brain with a cryptic crossword book?)

Also my single lonely auction has a single lonely bid. Oh dear. Must Try Harder!!

I hope other people had a better week, I noticed some lovely hand made things, wish I could have bidded on more.

I am really sorry about that. Wish I could have bid on one of your things, I just looked at the SAUK (scoliosis) website, I might find it useful.

I've bought two lovely bags on the MDCC this month.

Although I didn't raise any funds for The Scoliosis Assoc.UK this month, I will be donating one of the bags to another Scoliosis group; as a gift to a disabled child at a charity event.

Next month I'll try to list some items that are more exciting :^O

Frustrating end to a frustrating week - thank gawd a new week starts from now................here's hoping it's better than the last one!

Been away at daughter's from Friday am till late last night. Three days of no phone, no internet - even bought a dongly thing which spent 3 days searching for a signal! No mobile signal worth talking about so only contact with outside world was driving to local shop (9miles away!) for a carton of milk  😄    Think I was only there to provide cups of tea, do the washing up, keep an eye on the dogs & do battle with the evil prehistoric roses in the front garden. Think the roses won as I'm still squeezing out the wretched thorns over 24 hours later. OWWWW 😞

I'll check the emails in a wee bit & see if I won anything and if I did, what it was!  With having no internet, had to phone son on the way home to say put a tenner on the first mdcc auction that's listed! Very scientific, my mdcc bidding & I do like surprises :^O

So, thank you everybody for the bids & bumps - will go & sit on the naughty step now for being AWOL during MDCC week 😮

Don't worry aricarnia (why do I keep reading that as arnica?? sorry, it's like my brain's got predictive text! )  - it's happened to us all at some time or another. I think it was just pure bad luck that your first mdcc was on the slowest weekend we've had for ages. Please don't be disheartened - I'm sure it'll be better next month 🙂

just thought i would let you deno defenders know that the poor lickle lamb has to have his teeth filed down again soon so thats where your hard earned pennies wil be going.

For those that dont know,   cos he had a broken jaw when he was rescued his teeth grow unevenly so evey so often they have to be filed down with a file.   he has a thing that keeps his jaw open when its being done and has to be sedated and uses frank as a leaning post or who ever is handy.

All parcels finally done, what a palaver with the new system!  It wouldn't let me select 2nd class option through paypal, so all have gone by 1st class. I am happy to stand the little extra on postage so that Deno & Posh get more pennies 🙂
