Deno (proper name De Novo) was adopted by FHG posters in 2005 when one of them, Shebalator, rescued him from slaughter.
Then - 700lbs underweight with a broken jaw and multiple other ills.
2008 - still struggling with sarcoids but finally fit enough to have a light rider up for the first time so he could
join his mates on a jaunt round the local lanes
2009 - due to sheb’s declining health, a new home was sought for Deno.
A very brave ebayer named upthecreekyetagain ( very apt name I think you will agree) agreed to take him on.
So, now Deno lives in Surrey with the Creeky family, plus 3 lovely mares. He has 5 acres of grass and orchards to roam in and is very happy.
His sarcoids still remain a problem, but a new vet is investigating them further to decide on the best course of palliative care.
Visits can be arranged, please contact Creeky for more info.
Deno is reliant on fundraising and donations for his food, medicines and all the things that make his world that bit nicer.

I went visiting today and if anyone still looks in here, here's a couple of pics of Deno in his favourite position - head in food bowl 😄
The stable is is need of more repair - I did try to defend Deno as sure it wasn't being knocked down by him :^O
The weather of course has been a nightmare for feeding them - no grass growing and still needing hay - during the summer 😞
evening, hope all is good in the land of croaky and co. Been very busy, am good at cribbing ex racers, abused ex racers etc, horse show yesterday,met some gorgeous gentle giants. Georgia rode the lovely cob in 2 classes but she is still too small really for him, he is a diamond boy.
Fancy Deno causing chaos, hes not known as cap'n' chaos for no reason Lol.

Morning all!Just catching up on the Creaky goings on...havent been around for a while,sadly lost my Dad suddeny to cancer and Im lost without him,he was my whole life..Robdog knows somethings up and has helped me no end with the odd cuddle and head in lap on a really down day.I'll try harder to come visit!Ive got some hugs to hand around...here ya go
