Deno's Diary Part 3, A new Chapter

Deno (proper name De Novo) was adopted by FHG posters in 2005 when one of them, Shebalator, rescued him from slaughter.

Then - 700lbs underweight with a broken jaw and multiple other ills.




2008 - still struggling with sarcoids but finally fit enough to have a light rider up for the first time so he could
join his mates on a jaunt round the local lanes



2009 - due to sheb’s declining health, a new home was sought for Deno.
A very brave ebayer named upthecreekyetagain ( very apt name I think you will agree) agreed to take him on.
So, now Deno lives in Surrey with the Creeky family, plus 3 lovely mares. He has 5 acres of grass and orchards to roam in and is very happy.



His sarcoids still remain a problem, but a new vet is investigating them further to decide on the best course of palliative care.

Deno is reliant on fundraising and donations for his food, medicines and all the things that make his world that bit nicer.

Oh my goodness, took me ages to find this thread, all the way down on page 7 !!!

I have a few items up on auction in aid of Deno & Posh this month, bidding is extremely slow, in fact, dire!  Anyone who would like to help out with raising a few pennies for the horsies, please take a look at the MDCC auctions (just type in MDCC on the search bar to find all the asuctions for various charities and good causes).

2 more months until everyone will be laffing on here, I am facing my fear and riding my mates ex racer ( happy hacking one), my lovely daughter will take photos in between wetting herself seing me trying to climb onto a gate and onto the big oss. I have ordered some boots, jods and I have a hat, wil need arnica, witch hazel and counselling after Lol

Every time I've checked the web cam recently I've expected to see a Creeky-shaped stepping stone in the sea of mud!

Posh and Lulu look INCREDIBLY clean given the conditions

ok, we said awww when Georgia rides the grey pony now the stakes have rises and the horses size, this is my mates ex racer, he raced unbtil a few months ago but is a diamond horse, he is 16.2

Just in case anyone is wondering why the web cam isnt working,  i was asked to let you know a new line will be laid soon,  his lordship is working flat out on his new pub, denos new stable.

Also the horses have managed to wreck the complete front of the stables, one part having been repaired, the other half waiting for repair.

This means the horses have now wrecked the entire stables, knocking down all walls.:_|

Personally i think they did it on purpose in the hope of moving into more luxorious stables complete with kitchen and posh wall lights.:^O

Or maybe croaky could ask at the local police station if the cells aren't being used 😄
