A couple of months back I was banned for selling GOLLIES. So I reported sellers for the same "crime". Now it seems no matter how many times I report the ones selling gollies, no action is being taken. Anyone know anything I don't? (I get no joy from ebay, just a "thank you" for letting them know!).

Good Golly, something needs to be done about this.

You seem to have found a solution; list the golly holding a gun.

Identifying it as Jolly might also help, a patch on the eye will then be all that's needed.

Yes. Do bear in mind that it is perfectly fine to identify yourself as anything you wish to be. The owner of the puppet is the parent, they are legally entitled to support the puppet's wishes.

Reminds me of the greatest scene in British movie history - that of Sir Michael Redgrave and the ventriloquist's dummy in the iconic, yet sadly little known, Dead of Night. Hugo ...

You cannot sell gollies on e-bay ( or Gumtree!) ,I know what you mean though e-bay should have something it place that somehow rejects the listing but they don't have
I did get into a back & forth about it with a e-bay rep , not that it helped
Just kept saying ," no gollies allowed on e-bay ,I said yes but there are 8 at the moment still on there and was told maybe I should go on each one individually and review them,I explained I didn't want a job with e-bay !!
I did report 2 but e-bay did nothing
