long story short purchased an item off ebay , asked to have it click and collect and the seller used evri,
was all going well untill the tracking claimed the seller asked for it back , he says he didnt ask for it back and i believe him , does anyone have any idea whats going on and how we resolve this as i still want my item.

parcel is graphics card so not a big parcel
ebay mentions something about simple delivery ( never heard of this)
what will happen when the selller gets the parcel back ,i have told him id like the item still , worried also that this is gonna take me over the time frame i can get a refund .

There is currently a technical issue with Evri declaring wrongly, that either the seller or the buyer are requesting the item to be returned.
All you can do as a buyer, is to wait for that last estimated date for delivery perhaps allow a day or two more, your item may still arrive, if not, you open a case for item not received.
If you wish, as both you and the seller are in communication, and both rightly confused by this situation, you can send the seller a message that eBay have said a seller's performance will not be affected by this known tech issue.

This happend to me as a seller. My buyer received the same message as you on 21st October, and the item turned up on my doorstep on 22nd October. I took the matter into my own hands as I could not generate a new label to send, and the item was delivered by Royal Mail. I have today received an email request to send the item and generate a new Evri label, Maybe your seller has received it back and can now resend it.
Throughout my communications with Ebay, they have advised that both buyer and seller are covered for loss by the SimpleDelivery assurances.

just an update
i put a none received thing on ebay yesterday 30th saying i still want the item ,they have put the case on hold untill 9th , it also says seller has added tracking to show its on the way but the only tracking i see is the original one ,
this whole experience has put me off ebay i don't wanna go through this again .

update
ebay have removed the case hold then immediately put it on hold until 13th when originally it was untill the 9th
i told them ive had enough and want a refund as the tracking cleary shows i aint getting the item anytime soon as its still in transit to the seller ,
ebay are absolutely useless and wont help me because its in transit.....but not to me but to the seller !!!!!!!!

just another thing id like to add , for the last few days the post code for the post office the item was due to be delivered no longer allows me to see full tracking details so i cant even esculate it with evri ,
