I ordered 3 boxes of trading cards which came from Germany, two from the same seller and the third from a different. All orders had custom charges alongside them which I had to pay before they were delivered to me - otherwise the couriers would have held onto them. The customs fees for the 2 boxes from the same seller were from UPS and the other one was from Parcelforce.
Upon inspection of the items, it appears there are so many defects - for all 3 of them. I could go into the ins and outs details regarding the defects here but this is not what this post is about. Unfortunately before I even had a chance to set up any of the returns, my account got hit with a MC195 notice and instant suspension. My rights have all been revoked as well as all features including purchasing, selling, even messaging.
No reason has been given but I strongly suspect this to a selling account I had 4 years ago which had been closed for no reason either. Anyways, I now wish to return the items as I cannot accept my money being wasted especially considering the total value of all 3 items is over £599 combined. But how do I go about this? I’m unable to set up a return manually since whenever I try to it just automatically gets denied saying that I am not allowed to. I’m unable to message the sellers since my reply never seems to send or go through, it gets revoked instantly. My hands seem pretty much tied.
I do however have the return addresses for both sellers and am more than willing to set up my own return via EVRI courier or perhaps another one. Could I just go ahead and return all 3 items back to the sender via my own return label and then perhaps submit a payment dispute further down the line in case I have’t received a refund? The only reason I ask is because this wouldn’t be an official return set up via ebay but at least there would be evidence of me having sent the items back. That’s all I can do. Selling them is not an option because the items are defect, a lot of the cards are missing and some are bent and therefore rendered useless.
Now, say further down the line after having had returned the items and I get refunded either via the sellers themselves or via payment dispute, would it be possible to claim a refund on the custom charges I had already paid for UPS as well as Parcel Force? I think there’s 2 different forms to possibly claim regarding this, one for parcelforce and another for different couriers.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

My mate had the same problem with his account restricted his account for no reason he had good feedback as well he ended up closing it all together and never bothered since. As for your trading cards you could send them back but without eBay money back guarantee chances are you probably won’t end up getting your money back. You could try and claim customs charge back but I doubt it you even get that. Sounds like a bit of a headache to me you probably better off counting your losses.

Why don't you just do a payment dispute now?
