Nectar points pending but not added to account

I have made purchases on Ebay through the Nectar app to collect points. From 16th September until 12 October not all the pending points have been added to my account. There is about 21 transactions missing points added and still pending. Not sure what is happening as the transactions are completed with items received. I contacted nectar, but they told me to contact Ebay. 

Anyone else had this and know what I should do.

Ebay no longer supports nectar points.

I think it stopped on September 1.

You should still collect points to purchase from eBay if  you go through the nectar app as you have done.. I have the same problem. Nectar do not acknowledge they have recorded your purchase either like topcashback for instance.  I would think nectar should be the one to contact, not ebay, but how? They should sort this new way of purchasing quickly as many others will be having the same problem.

Thanks for your reply. I have quite a few pending emails that never had gone through to my account. I contacted Ebay and got a very nice reply to contact nectar. Nectar isn't very helpful by telling me it takes 30 days to go through and to contact Ebay, ect, ect. I am not sure what to do and hoping someone else has had the same experience and can give advice.

Nectar really need to sort themselves out and even better put overdue points into accounts.

Thanks for your reply.  Yes, they changed the way to get points and they are not allowing to spend points on Ebay either. You can still get points through the Nectar app, but that isn't working either as I have quite a few pending points that haven't been put into my account.

Not sure what to do about it, but any advice gratefully received.

Maybe some delays are due to some sellers allowing time to return goods. Just guessing.  I have a purchase that is not even pending so don't know what is going on.  Am sure others will have the same problems but for some it is too much hassle to do anything about it which doesn't help.   I agree about the overdue points and hope you get them after 30 days.  Good luck!

I am having the same problem. Since the 14th September I have had no points added from eBay. I have called eBay concierge and they just say we don't do nectar point anymore since 1 September. Nectar keep saying wait 2 more weeks. All of my purchases say nectar points are pending but never get approved. I checked in eBay's rules it says it can take 3 months ? For point to be approved. Is this right.?  On one of these pages it says 28 days ? Does anyone really know

I received an email yesterday from Nectar after my last ebay purchase informing me my purchase had been tracked and points were pending & normally added within 5 days.  If you read in detail similar emails you receive the last paragraph states any other reasons why points could be deducted and to read terms and conditions.  Ebay will contact Nectar to give reasons why we don't qualify for points. So it seems to be hit and miss.  I hadn't read the email in detail before.  Ebay should not be telling you we don't do points any more.  They do, the system has changed, just go through Nectar app instead when making a purchase.

Yes, my pending points stopped going into my account on the 15th September, it is roughly 1000 points pending since then, some have gone through on very recent purchases within the last two weeks. There is a month with no approved points. I have tried to contact them, but they just blame ebay and say it can take 30 days. I don't know if 30 working days or calendar days. Not sure what else to do but wait.

Yes, any returns or refunds the points will be removed, which I understand. So going by that, Ebay approves the points and then notifies Nectar to approve points.  All my points had gone through Nectar app so it must be Ebay causing the delay with some technical issues.

Well I have had 100+ nectar emails saying your points are pending but from 14 sept I have had none approved so no points added. Nectar said 2 weeks ago leave it for 2 weeks and see if the are approved. So that makes it now 6 weeks and still no points added but I am still getting the points pending mails. I will be contacting nectar this week and will let you know what reaction I get ? I buy 100s of items on eBay every week so iam 20000 points missing +

I contacted eBay concierge and asked them why the points are not being approved but they just sat we don’t give nectar points anymore ? They will not budge from that comment. We don’t give them anymore since 1st September. So it seams that it’s nectar we need to call ? I will be this week it’s been 6 weeks since I have had any point’s approved.

Blimey.  The plot thickens.  I still think it's eBay not approving the purchases.    Nectar will not add them to our account until they do.  The new system is not working so the 2 companies need to liaise.  Just surprised others have not come forward with same issues.  I have nothing in comparison to your amounts so hope you get sorted.

Hi, it’s fairly new so people are not really watching but because I buy regularly I do. I used to get £250-£300 worth of nectar point each year so with them now giving 2 per pound spent I was expecting £500- £600 + the bonus points. Worth having as a little bonus. If these don’t come through I will be using my Nat west card in future this gives me 1% cash back on all eBay purchases. But I can’t get both it’s the app you use to buy with.

Wow, you have alot of pending points. Hope you can get them, let me know if you have any success and how you did it.  Information is very important and happy to help people in anyway, there has been times I could have done better if got some information., but also discovered when you ask questions about a problem or issue you are not alone as you discover that people have the same problem/issue, so good to share.

I am still waiting for nectar points going back to the 23rd of September from purchases on Ebay totalling about 5,000 points which is about £25.00p...I contacted Nectar and they told me that I had to list every transaction on their site singly including all ebay details,I am not filling out 40 mising points forms singly..After checking on Ebay etc I looked at the small print and it says it could take up to 90 days for points to appear...I still get points from ebay dating after the initial missing points.....Good luck with yours..

Hi everyone. I have just been onto eBay about the missing nectar points.
The concierge told me again ( 5th time) e bay dose not give nectar points.
I argued the point that e bay had been approving points earned by the nectar app upto 14th September 2024. And from that date has not approved any of my other points that are pending. After a while and me explaining that’s it’s been 6 weeks since any points had been approved the advisor said
He would send over a complaint to be investigated by THE NECTAR DIVISION. So eBay dose have a section that deals with nectar points even though they don’t actually give point them selves. I was advised that this complaint may take some time and the advisor would contact me after 10 days to see what if anything had happened. If nothing he would chase it up.
So maybe some help ?
I also have been onto nectar. This time the advisor said he would raise a complaint of missing points as they have been missing longer than 45 days.
So I have hopefully 2 complaints that should meet some where in the middle..
I will post my results good or bad when I find out anything.

Good for you boxerdog.  Thank you for your time and perseverance.  We are sure it will help everyone.  They must surely realise they have to inform their staff the way to gain points has now changed.  After that they should activate them quickly and not leave them pending indefinitely. There is also a well known cashback site still giving 1 %  for ebay purchases despite saying it would end 31st Oct.  We also saw the terms and conditions mentioning the 90 days which is ridiculous.  Most return by dates are 30 days.
