Hi, I just got an email from ebay at reply.ebay.co.uk which at first sight seems to be an ebay promotion.
Title: "A timeless investment"
Content:
"Invest with luxury
Shop designer handbags with confidence thanks to Authenticity Guarantee. Experts verify dozens of inspection points, including packaging, details and accessories to ensure you receive the real deal!"
The problem is that below that it says:
"Not associated with any brands sold on eBay."
But below that:
"
How Authenticity Guarantee works |
Look out for the blue tick.
- Choose an item with confidence.
- Experts check your item, then ship it.
- Your luxury item is delivered!"
Luckily I don't buy "Luxury Items", but it is all a bit confusing as to whether this message is from ebay or not. I don't see it in "My Messages". It has made me wonder whether all the other ebay-branded promotional emails I get are genuine.
