I had a customer make me an counter offer on £100 item so the item is listed at £100 I sent the watches an offer of £70 one came back to me at £37 and I wanted to counter that was 60 for some reason I managed to counter it with £3 and of course they went to buy it the moment I saw this which I believe was instantly I cancelled the order and contacted the seller to see obviously a £3 counter offer is clearly a mistake that I was going to counter £60 but due to the mistake I would count at £50 and that I would contact eBay to make sure I’ve done the right thing. Can anyone advise that I have done the right thing and what I remaining good standing with eBay I am new to all this stuff so I’m really worried that I’ll be made to sign it up £3 the issue is I’m summing up a private collection of memorabilia collection over the years. The item is actually valued at 170 but the sale is broken hence it being up for 100 please advise me. I’m so stressed out and thanks for reading

Don't worry, no one, including ebay, can force a seller to sell. If you cancelled the low counter offer then that's fine. One cancellation will not affect your account.
