You have a source?
I can find nothing about this. Just that they are starting a Local side to things, by inviting UK suppliers.

To the best of my knowledge, TEMU does not yet have a fulfilment centre located in the UK. They are currently recruiting UK suppliers to dispatch locally for rapid fulfilment, similar to 'seller fulfilled prime' on Amazon.

Well our listing page views are down since the 1st April 36.4% and offsite views down a massive 50%! So if this is true its difficult times ahead indeed. The UK will be flooded with cheap chinese tat.

I thought that had popped up in my Facebook feed.

I’ve definitely seen something that Temu now have a U.K. warehouse offering next day delivery. After 15 years on here, I’m closing down this month.

Temu themselves advertise on their site is that proof enough for you?
Indeed they are i took look myself.

I didn't say it was or it wasn't.
I never asked for proof, just for a source!
I never take anything at face value on the internet!
However, though I don't dispute the way it's being advertised, it does still look like they are only talking about local deliveries, which in turn is from UK suppliers.
I can find evidence of Shein actually looking for a planning to buy a site in the Midlands. But absolutely nothing for Temu.
Have you actually clicked on that advert?
I would be willing to bet that it just brings up a search with UK suppliers and not a specific Temu UK warehouse.
There is plenty of news etc about them opening up to "local" suppliers in several countries, but zero about actual property.

I thought this was an interesting sentence from an online article about Temu recruiting UK suppliers to sell its stock (dated Dec 2024)
'Temu, which has hired directors from its rival eBay to build its new 'local' business venture, is reportedly planning to hire dozens more UK employees and to open a London office, according to The Times.'
The article also stated that Shein were looking for logistics and warehousing facilities in the UK

Which is pretty much all that I have found about it.
ie. they are looking to open a London office. That's not a warehouse! 🙂

They could save warehouse space and storage costs by just dropping it off at the nearest landfill site when it arrives.
