Switching to ebay business problem

I want to switch to business seller, but every time I add my bank account, it says "We couldn't verify this bank account. Please select a different payment method." I've also tried with 2 bank accounts and it's the same thing. And I've already got the bank account I want to use for my payouts connected and it's the same one that I'm trying to connect now.

Contact eBay Customer Services,  as access to your account is needed here,  they have this, and hopefully can spot where the issue lies.

I recommend contacting CS first thing in the morning as there's more chance of Dublin answering.

Just in case, if you have the same account on two accounts already, it simply won't accept it.

You have no option but to go through support.

If you are changing to business, then I would recommend that you think about using a separate business account.  It makes life a lot easier, though isn't a requirement at all.

Ye I have the same bank for 3 accounts and it is a business account so maybe that's the issue.

Have you got a different e mail address for the business account?

It probably is.  Last time I did this, I had a bit of a struggle to get support to sort it out.

For whatever reason, they don't like you using the same account on more than two.

Which to my mind is crazy.  They are happy for you to pay using the same card, no matter how many accounts you have, just not pay you!

I'm facing the same issue while trying to add my bank account (switching to a business account). Were you able to resolve it? If so, how did you manage to fix it?
