Refunded item now arrived

I bought an item that was refunded for non arrival.

The item has now arrived 

I contacted the seller ( in China) to say I had the item and needed to pay for it.

They have sent me a PayPal address .

I just wanted to check this is all ok to do.

There isn’t any way of doing it through EBay is there? 
This is all safe isn’t it? 
Im probably a bit older than you guys so I just wanted to check

A PayPal address is just an email address; if you send a PayPal payment the recipient will only have your name and (PayPal-connected) email address.

If this is a one-off PayPal payment and you don't normally use PayPal you can make the payment then close the PayPal account.
