New Updated Messaging - you can't send an offer now!

The new "upgraded" messgaes is a bit *bleep*.

There doesn't seem to be any way to send an offer to a buyer through messages anymore.

This was a really useful feature - if a buyer made you an offer in a message, you could instantly send them an offer at that price through messages.

It was so useful it seems they have decided to get rid of it. Thanks a bunch eBay.

Ooops!  Missed that you were posting about messages, not the Orders page.  My excuse is that it's snowing here and my workroom is freezing - which means I'm going to have to turn the heater on.  More overhead.

I'd rather have the old 'Repeat Buyer' text, even though it didn't lead to anything.

I asked about these issues in the weekly chat last week.

Got the usual platitudes, passed to the team, thanks for your message, etc.

I find it hard to believe that someone somewhere has signed off on this, removing basic information that sellers need to respond to messages.

Actually, I don't find it hard to believe at all.

Gone into messages, but I cant see this big blue 'Send an Offer' button.

Yh I've had a arsey buyer try to proper lowball me and instead of accepting a offer I regretted countering her with she trued get cheeky & I declined.  She instantly messaged saying she woukd buy previous price but there was no option to send best offer in message. Hope she doesn't take funnies buy it & do something mean as it has 61 watchers.. I did notice on downloading all though through there it let me alter the price even though I sent offers out on it. I messaged her but didn't get a response so I've put price back. I hate the app lay out & they've now ruined desktop layout. The view page for messages is horrible now, in desktop. It looks so empty. So them removing the feature has kinda lost me a sale. Though hopefully it will sell someone else this weekend more for price I want
