I have business account and Ebay in their infinite wisdom, have changed the way I'm paid out to 3 days after delivery has been confirmed. Apparently this is being rolled out to everyone via email. Anyone else experienced this?

Yeah, its a real bugger that they process refunds but still hold the payment! My payments have been on hold since May 2025 but last week they have finally gone back to normal-for how long I don't know as I do fear there is more to pain to come. This has been very stressful for us and we have spent many hours on the phone and drafting letters. Lets hope the team/person who implemented this gets sacked!

Can I ask what makes you think there is more pain to come and why the 24 hour payouts arent here to stay?

Ebay have put one of my orders on hold, no reason, totally random in-between orders
I'll be making a complaint

I've been here for 23 years with an exemplary selling record, yet ebay is now withholding my payments for 31 days unless an item is sent tracked delivery, so it seems eBay no longer trust me despite feedback being left for the item in question.
On talking to eBay the excuse I was given was "Community Standards", no other reason was given and he couldn't give me one except the rather pathetic reply of "Community Standards".
What is this "Community Standards" excuse eBay are using, and multiple me by several thousand other people and this sounds to me like just another money grab from eBay witholding everyone's money.
This is completely unacceptable and I want a proper answer !

Do you mean eBay has just applied this to your account? As many people had it applied months ago including myself and it’s only just been released 3 days ago

I had this since July, they finally changed me back to 24 hr payouts a few days ago

We just had ours changed yesterday after almost 4 Months .

Well I can Inform you that we have a Business, Top rated seller, trusted seller and No negative feedback. Exemplary account and are payouts are being help for 3 days after delivery. This useless company has gone massively down hill.. You would do good to check out Ebay UK Trustpilot seriously, this will open your eyes for sure..

Hi yes us too,no notice and we had spend a lot of money preparing for the busy season,and they have done the same to us,we have been with them 18 yr and a top rated seller, we decided to take a week off from 18th Dec to 2nd January,so they wont be holding any funds over the xmas..
Very disappinting as we never had a clue it was coming,worse thing we spoke to a customer service rep in Ireland she stongly advised that this was absoutely not correct for our account, advised will need a week to sort it as have to contact three different dept. this was the 7th Novemeber, did not come back to us .:-(
We have seen a lot of changes over the years,and sadly Ebay is failing us big time..
We do not feel valued at all..merry Christmas..

A few of us had this start in July and have since been reverted back to 1 day payouts, you'll have to deal with it for around 4 months.
