Invisible Listings

Hi,

(DISCLAIMER: I'm posting this on an alternative account).

I just opened my business account (finally!) and got it all set up. The only problem is, my listings are invisible! They ARE active, I can view them, a direct link works for them (for me and others/incognito). But they aren't "indexed", and it's been about 36 hours. I read that it can take up to 24 hours for indexing to complete but here I am, launch weekend RUINED, an invisible shop with invisible stock. Am I screwed? This has never happened to me in all my time on eBay (business or private).

Help?!

Re: Invisible Listings

It's easier for us to help if you post this from the correct account, please.

Re: Invisible Listings

What difference would that make?

Re: Invisible Listings

If they posted on their new business account then we can say if we can see their listed items.

A couple of weeks ago i could see my items but others could not.    Took over 2 days (instead of the usual 2 minutes) for them to show to others.

We could also look at the account to see if there are any glaring errors...eg returns policy etc

Re: Invisible Listings

But the OP can do the same by logging out. I expect there are valid reasons why items are not appearing but you shouldn't have to check it's happening since they wouldn't be asking if they were?

Oddly enough, one of my listings 'disappeared' from view just now, but I realised Ebay had restricted the categories and homed in on a different one. My item was based on a 'sell similar' item that hadn't been listed in the default one.

Ebay likes to do 'helpful' things that aren't always. I guess with SD we can't have too many 'all items' searching going on? You might find what you're looking for in an 'exempt' category?  😁
