Hi all
I decided not to block items sold to Europe using GPSR as I was under the assumption that eBay for being blocking them. But in the last 2 weeks I have sold 5 of them (Including to Germany which I thought was being blocked due to the German packaging laws)
So far, there hasn't been an issue and one of them has arrived without problems. Has anyone else noticed they are getting orders if they didn't block European destinations? If so have you had any issues yet?

They said I believe that your listings 'may be blocked from view in EU and NI'
Clearly, that hasn't occurred. In theory, there is a risk that your delivery could be checked - so whether you want to take that risk is up to you.

German packaging laws - unless you have a LUCID number loaded then your items won't be visible on Ebay Germany. However they will be visible to Germans who sign in to Ebay UK.
I sell with my LUCID number on my Business account and am getting German sales - new & regular buyers. I sell a few items from my collection on my personal account without a LUCID number and again I am getting German buyers.
GPSR - my items are antique or collectable so can be deemed to be exempt from GPSR. I put this in my listings both in the description & as an additional GPSR disclosure. Whether this helps or "protects me" who knows until Ebay or some EU bureaucrat contact me.

I do not have a lucid number but had 4 from Northern Ireland and one from Germany last week. All I switched off in November as didn’t want to sell to both places.

I blocked all of Europe including Germany and Northern Ireland in November. But suddenly last month I had 4 orders from Northern Ireland and one from Germany - I’ve no idea why and how they could have ordered.
