They've done it again!

There's over a week to go until the election and the BBC have removed all the links to regional news outlets from all their regional news sites.

What's the big idea? The BBC isn't impartial (I think they're very leftish/liberal biased) so have they done it because they consider that other news sites may try to "influence" voters?

Sorry CeeDee

But BBC News and BBC Politics are now mostly staffed and Managed by

bias ex-Tory party Boris when Mayors staff or ex Tory Party or MPs  staff

Go and check - started when Cameron, threatened the Licence fee

and is now hardly distinguishable from Murdoch's Sky News   (it's still HIS ethos)

That's not what I meant. Below the "Latest updates" on the "regional news" (more of that later) there's usually links to local newspapers etc.

They've all gone.

Now you've mentioned "Lancashire", for those that don't know how to find the regions..... Go to "UK", then "England", then "Regions", then either select a region or scroll down and find the region you want.

Since the BBC started putting "Latest updates" below the supposedly regional news, they've also started putting repeated things there which have appeared either on the main news or on other regional news.

Further..... I've read the BBC news website for many years and it's nothing like Sky News. That's gone way downhill!

A while back they used to have "First for breaking news" on every page. They were NOT first..... I got fed up with that so I emailed them and told them the BBC were usually before them! Would you believe it? Not long afterwards they removed the "first for breaking news".

Just lately, Sky News is all big pics, loads of wasted space, all padding, old news left on, little news.

Yes, I've an adblocker. I've just tried pausing it but after refreshing I've still no links like you've got.

Further to the above, I did nothing to "cause" this, yesterday the links were there, today, gone.

I have two computers on, this one is on Windows 10, the other is Windows 7. Both have an adblocker but they're different. The Win 7 one has the links gone too and they don't appear if I allow "adverts on the BBC".

I won't bother, I'll see if they return after the election. They've disappeared before when local elections were on too but returned when they were over.

Al, that you, you must be right because I usually use google and it's from there I set my favourites.

I just tried "Edge" and went to the BBC using that and when I clicked "Regions", "Cumbria" the links to other news sites were all there.

Can you go to the BBC news site, click "England", then "Regions", then pick a region, for example "Lancashire", scroll down the page and see "Other news sites"? Because I can't and I've tried this computer (on Win 10) and my other (on Win 7).
