About 2 hours ago, started feeling cold and shivering.
Have put coat on and put heater on.
Now having a hot cup of tea.
Still shivering.
Taking meds for underactive thyroid and high blood pressure
If no change in the morning, am going to doctor.
Anyone else had the same thing.

I have an underactive thyroid, I feel the cold sometimes but not like you have described.
Dont just assume it is the meds etc, it could be anything.
If I were you give NHS direct a call, they will advise you better than here.
No offence to anyone but it is better to be safe than sorry.
Hope you feel better very soon. xx

Bloomin' cold here as well - temperature has plummeted after quite a mild day.
Keep wrapped up - hope you feel better in the morning.

Hope you managed a good and comfy sleep last night. Feeling better this morning Mustard-tree.
If not then maybe wise to make a doctors appointment.
I had my thyroid checked about a month ago, but luckily all came back clear. I have low blood pressure, and always have got cold hands, unless I am unwell as that is the only time I have warm hands.

A couple of years ago I started taking an amino acid called L-Arginine which is supposed to improve circulation to the extremities. I usually get terribly cold feet when I sit still but I've certainly noticed the difference the past two Winters. Might be worth a try but I would ask your doc beforehand if you're already taking prescribed meds.

An old saying is "Cold hands, warm heart".
It's life Jim, but not as WE know it.
Live long and prosper.
