Are there still blackberries about?

I realise I may be too late.  But are there still blackberries around to pick?  I went out around this time last year but I think the season this year has been earlier.

They were early this year Alison, but I think it depends where you are.  The ones round here have

all but gone now but we went out last weekend and found loads by the seaside.

I love blackberries but only the odd one here and there now.

Don't forget to leave some for the Devil! ( an old superstition !)
There are a few still left but I think by this time a lot of them have been fly struck. ( extra protein perhaps? Yuck!! )

 I grow blackberries, goosberries & plums...

 The blackberry bush - zilch for the first time ever !

 The goosberry bush - zilch for the first time ever !

 My plum tree produced a grand total of 5 plums - usually it's bending with the weight of plums !

 Heavy rain saasher...but nothing unusual for us.

It's strange! I have heard from some old farmers that damsons seem to take a rest from fruiting at some point, I wonder if it's the same sort of thing?

I had gooseberries the size of damsons this year & loads of them. Not many apples though as the gales demolished the blossom.

Thank you so much for the responses.  I am in North Hertfordshire - Stevenage area.  I will have a walk out to the country over next couple of days and hopefully will find some 🙂

Damson's whats?  I thought she was a girl!! 

We had a plum tree at the front with the branches almost on the ground with the weight of the fruit, and one at the back with none on at all!!
