Selling on EBay - can't get past first base !

When my husband is trying to list set of golf clubs, he's not given the option of creative a new listing - he gas to "tap a keyword", which then brings up an item with a long list of product details that he can't delete ! He cab upload his own photos and put title in, but description of random product is locked and can't be edited ! Why is selling so user unfriendly ? We've tried everything !
