Pictures missing using APP

I cannot view any pictures for any listing using the eBay APP. The main picture does appear for a second and then disappears.

I have tried reinstalling the APP, clearing the cache etc. The APP is now useless using the android tablet. The tablet uses android 7.0 and is about 7 years old. Will now delete the APP and use the browser instead or is there a fix for the APP?

I am using version 6.49.0.3
The issue appears to me to be that the screen view is held in a ZOOMED IN view. the pictures appear briefly when opening an item then the view appears to zoom in.

The problem you describe is exactly what I'm going through. I've re-installed the app numerous times and tried restarting my phone (Moto E4 Plus) to no avail. 

To be clear, the photos of listed items are not "missing" - they appear as small pictures in the list of search results; click on an item and it loads and briefly; for perhaps a second, shows the picture normally and then it disappears. 
The listing is displayed as normal but there are no pictures. 

It's absolutely infuriating when you're away from your PC (which works normally - it's just the app) and a Watched Item Alert pings your phone but you can't see what you're bidding on! 

Please fix this issue - Vinted is calling me!

Hi Kat,I have just tried logging in to ebay.com instead of .co.uk and everything is there including pictures. The problem seems specific to the UK site. Perhaps you could let everybody know and make ebay UK aware.RaySent from Samsung tablet.

I just went to ebay.com from my Internet browser, not using the app.

Lots of us appear to have the same issue.  They had better resolve it as the app was useful on android.  Also rubbish a company of this size does not have a better reporting facility or am i missing something?

Yes, just seems to be the app not working. If you go into bay from  your internet browser, everything is fine.Sent from Samsung tablet.

My phone is Samsung Galaxy S6 with android 7.0

EBay app version number 6.49.0.3

Hope it can be sorted out otherwise eBay going to loose users.

Hi All,

The latest eBay app version is no longer compatible with android 7. I can see some users have mentioned android 7 as their current operating system on their device. It actually requires OS android 10 and above. If you have another device with android 10 and above you can check the most recently updated eBay app version and see if you can view images.

If you are using OS android 10 and above and still have issues with viewing images on the app please let me know. State what version you use and type of device and I'll have it looked into further by tech.
