Keeps saying app update!! Help.

Hi everyone.on my tablet I go on Ebay UK and I have an offer from a seller but when I try to open it it just says app needs updating.i have auto updates but it keeps showing it everytime i try so I dont get it.Any ideas!!

I think I may have a solution to this problem.

If you’re buying or selling on eBay, you will no doubt get emails from them containing a link to the item you’re buying or selling.

When you do get an email with the link to your item, click on the item link and it will take you to your item.

As the eBay page opens, you will see the annoying message, ‘Update Required’

DO NOT click ‘EXIT’ button with the ‘Update’ box, but simply go back to your email message and click the same item link and you should be taken to your eBay item minus the ‘Update Required’ message.

It’s not a permanent fix, but it should give you access to the app.

Just had a look on Vinted. did some searches on  my normal categories. Looks like lots of sellers on Ebay also use Vinted. Maybe Vinted is the new Ebay, ah well it was fun while it lasted

Obviously Ebay doesn't care about losing customers. I missed 5 auctions I was watching and intending to bid on this last week for high price test equipment because the App had stopped working without warning on my phone. Really P*****d off about that !

So I've uninstalled the App and wont be installing it on my newer phone (which is for private use only).

Stupid move to make the App incompatible with members phones if you ask me.

20 years as an active member means nothing to them!

I think ebay have *bleep* off too many people this time, new fees, later
payments, their updated app making perfectly good devices useless overnight
without warning?? From what i've been reading trade on ebay is dying, not
that i know for sure ive stopped using it!
