If deleting, restarting and installing the latest version of the eBay app does not help, then try using a browser to reach ebay.co.uk instead of using the eBay app.
You may need to disable the setting that automatically opens eBay browser links in the eBay app by tapping and holding such a link, then choosing "don't open in the app".
App issues can be reported to eBay by shaking your device while the app is active.

Hi vameade2013, thanks for your post.
Is this happening in general in any section of the app, or does it only happen when you're trying to do something in particular? If you can confirm your iPad's software version, and eBay app version, I'd be happy to take a further look for you.
Thank you,
Marco

Hi davidpreece, thanks for your reply.
Could you please elaborate this further for me? As in what error exactly are you getting? Also, what do you mean your iPad is 17-7-10? Is that when you bought it or the year of the iPad?
Thank you,
Marco

Marco,
17.7.10 is the iPad Operating System, not the date of purchase. Here you go:
iPadOS 17.7.10, released on August 20, 2025, is a specific security update for certain iPad models, addressing a critical vulnerability in the ImageIO framework. This update fixes an issue where a malicious image file could cause memory corruption by improving bounds checking, a flaw that Apple noted may have been exploited in a sophisticated attack against specific targeted individuals.
You're welcome.
