The Millenium Burglary.

It never ceases to amaze me that people leave their car keys in an easily accessible place, like hanging around in the hall or near doors or windows. This thread was provoked by a news item where a bloke had just picked up a new car and it was stolen...

The NEWS, note the word NEWS?

I am heartily sick of hearing about Brexit. Virtually all of it is pure speculation. The NEWS is what's happened, is happening or is about to happen. What might happen, could happen, might possibly happen is NOT news. The Politcal journalists are com...

The train now departing is

Running at 200% of capacity, I am and always have been fascinated by trains, from my early years watching the stanier Pacific’s charging up and down the west coast main line, to the arrival of diesels and then electrification! All of that happened un...

Charity Shops

I am quite surprised at how many clothes do not make it past the sorting .Staff pick over the goods, retaining the better items for sale in the shops, and rejecting the rest... .ie unfashionable - eg colour, pattern, style or material (such as nylon ...

This Drone business

Although yet to be clarified, The problems faced at Gatport Airwick seem to be blown out of proportion, were there drones or one drone, was it maliciously motivated if so what is that motivation, but possibly the most obvious question is why the damn...

Maoam Sour Stripes

I haven't seen them in the shops for a few months. Only the plain Maoam Stripes. You can find the odd Sour Stripe in the Maoam MaoMixx packs. The shop keepers I've asked recently, didn't even know they had them in stock in the first place.
