Some of you will remember February 2012 when FHG/MDCC members worked hard to get Haworth Cat Rescue (now Yorkshire Cat Rescue) to first place in an on-line competion.  HCR received £5,000

This month, an animal sanctuary in Cornwall needs your votes.  Apparently there is a new rule that all four of the nominated charities MUST REACH at least 200 votes in order to receive their payment. 

Maria's Animal Sanctuary (Cornwall) needs your help to gain their 200 votes.  If we can help them, the sanctuary will receive £1,500 from the donators.

Please go to this link and download the app (usual system).  Share on your facebook wall to get friends and family to vote.

To think they started with 35 votes only 5 days ago..... and now it has 150 votes.

We still need to find 50 more votes to get the £1,500 donation.

There is no way to vote without accepting the app.

But there is nothing to stop you from making a 'throwaway email adress' (gmail for example) and registering on facebook as 'myvotingaccount'
