I was relisting a few items on ebay..... when..... before I pressed the enter button to complete the listing, I got this ridiculous advice.
I have copied and pasted it in its entirety.
To increase your chances of selling:
For a start the items are worth far more then that, and what happens if there is only one bidder? I lose money, plus the 10% commission, plus Paypal fees, and if God forbid I were to offer free P&P then I would be in trouble.
Sometimes I wonder about these people, and who's interest they serve, certainly not the Seller, that they purport to look after.

OOoh ... mint sauce for me. .. Like it with me lamb, I like to hang me lamb out, cure it, and roast it mercilessly, till it becomes a lovely bit of meat, and something I can eventually stomach. This takes time and a lot of patience.
