What in gods name is a British political party in 2014 wanting legalised ivory trade for ? Surely not.

Because they don't like the EU and think somehow the UK will have still some clout in international affairs if we were on our own.
It should be noted that the EU is not just concerned with the ivory trade but illegal trade in other wildlife products both within and without the EU.
There is concern that elephants are evolving themselves out of the ivory buisiness by producing young that don't have tusks though that puts them at a disadvantage when for example, grubbing for food.

Oh dear I suppose I must reply, or he might get away with it. Well like I said I would prefer to ignore IT. And no doubt I have at least invited at least one more reply......
But honestly when someone keeps on and on, on and on, and on, and on, and on, and on:
Your problem is I gave a straight answer
Now what you perhaps need to do is start a thread on your concerns. We can see in your 'rant' what you want to talk about. And that's hardly a surprise.
''Where on earth did I get the idea that you support UKP - party that wants to legalise the ivory trade'' You say.
That's just it where on earth did you get the IDEA??? I could get idea's about you but I think proof is better I certainly do support UKIP and if I knew what their policy was on ivory, I might want to have an opinion on THAT. But not just now, but when I see them and if I want to see them.
Oh yes, our government here is a disgrace too on animal welfare. And China has next to none. I'm not on about the people of India...but their government. And anybody on here would see that. But just two of you How nasty!
Now if you can prove I did know their policy on ivory PROVE IT?! You cant! Dear O dear what's he/them going to search for now? NO further comment from me. It's all yours ....ENJOY?

Thank you for your straight answer.
I can well believe that you weren't aware of this policy or many other controversial ones UKIP propose - most UKIP voters seem to have cast their vote based on just two policies whilst failing to check who and what they are actually voting for.
It is relevant on this thread as a legalisation of the ivory trade would undoubtedly encourage further atrocities against elephants. The more it is publicised that there are political parties supporting this trade the more voters there will be who are aware of exactly what policies they may be voting for.

It's not just Elephants & Rhinos - Foxes & Seals are on UKIP's hitlist too:
