My advice would be to steer clear of the beer tent.

If you have time have a read of this by Raheem Sterling. It's a lovely story about family, mates and community solidarity."It was all a dream"

Not quite sure where this is all going, so now the French will lose to Belgium? (6 v 7) and two 7 letters play each other (Eng v Croatia), does that mean its all going to end in penalty shoot out - If so can we do it again??

Actually I said at page one - its ironic England have had far better teams with better manager's and been useless; and yet I can actually see us winning this!!!

I just got back from Barcelona and watched it in the square, England fans were well gone, but no trouble and even bought the Swedish ladies red roses each! They then sang voulez vous to the French stag party who were brave enough to goad them. It was quite funny.

Re: Here we go - Come on England

I think the point of difference here is that there are no superstars / prima donnas and the manager has so far proven to be a very shrewd and knowledgeable one, without the seasoned nature of so many of his predecessors. Hopefully he will continue to thrive as he did early days at Middlesboro, nothing fancy just well organised and willing team of players!

Re: Here we go - Come on England

Agreed no prima donnas - although Sterling is a bit of one - and he has't been much use either!

The rest are playing well - nothing to shout home about but playing well as a team - they believe in each other.

I really do think they can win this, Croatia were the tougher team to get, but for me the better team to get. If we'd got Russia we'd be playing 12 men - one of which would have been the referee who would not have given any decisions against Russia in the last 10 minutes for fear of causing a riot - and maybe getting novachocked!!

Re: Here we go - Come on England

Who's gonna be brave enough to predict the result?

Will it be finished in open play, after extra time or after penalties?

Alan Shearer summed it up beautifully with just one sentence.

"Whatever happens the boys are coming back as heroes, but they have the chance of coming back as legends".

Re: Here we go - Come on England

I don’t care about the result or how it’s achieved as long as we win😄 it’s high time we won something and the World Cup of 1966 is becoming such a distant memory, so come on England do it for us 👀PLEASE👍

Re: Here we go - Come on England

We will win - as long as we play to the best of our ability avoiding any confrontation after we get fouled - because we are going to be chopped down and it will be pysical! Crotia are good - but not that good.

I think this is our time - let's do it, we can win and go on to the final - lets make the country feel good!

We’ll win so long as we all wear our waistcoats.

If we lose then it’ll be your fault if you didn’t wear one.

Re: Here we go - Come on England

I wish people in the UK (particularly the press) were a bit less cocky at the slightest advantage.

Headline :- "England winning World Cup semi-final"..... There's 55 minutes (at least) to go yet.
