i think they have problems with ie 9 anyway i think we better take your animation problem to the teckie board can you tell me what programs and browsers you got and i,ll ask on there tomorrow

Hi Cat, it appears Windows 7 picture viewer doesn't implement the animation feature.

You can view your saved animations in IE though.

Right click the image and open with 'Internet Explorer'

Try the above solution & see if you can view your saved animations that way.

If so, you can set it as the default 🙂

Oh Bunny ... hold onto XP as long as you possibly can ... basically keep it, whatever you have to do..!

I know what you mean. When my last PC died the death I was determined to get another XP...albeit 2nd hand. I hate change 😉

I suppose eventually I'll have to bite the bullet and move onto Windows 7/8 but not yet - fingers crossed.

It was well worth a try, and yes I right clicked ~ went onto other programs as IE wasn't there, selected it ... r/click to open animation ~ and it gave me another copy of the "options" to open ~ and more options ro open etc., etc., etc... and it just continued to ignore the "open" instruction and gave me another option to open ... and my eyes crossed and my head hurt..!  :_|

And, I so want your 'tearing hair out' animation ... :_|  

Am going to crawl under the bed with one of my cats, and not come out until morning...!!!  :_| :^O :^O :^O

Thanks for trying Bunny..! :-x   If I'd known W7 was such a PITA, and there was no possiblity of keeping XP (I fell for the hype, what else can I say :_| ) ... I'd have kept buying old computers until at least 2020..!   Maybe by that time Windows 93 would have sorted itself out ... 😉  xx

It's not just me being ultra thick ... thanks  (((((((((((((((((((Bunny))))))))))))))))))))) :-x  I'll move back to IE8 during the night (bat-time) and then I'll use this and see how easily I can screw it up I can use it 😉 ~ and let you know in the morning!  :^O
