Found this tiny fossil several years ago just lying on a gravel path. From first appearances it looks look a possible fossil of an animal skull with upper legs/forelimbs. But then you look at the back of it, instead of a neck and spne, you have a strange branch like structure where the forelimbs attach to. I had no idea what it was, i have asked online, and seems the consensus is its fossilised coral or the mineralised exoskeleton of a colony organism called bryozoa.Here are some pics, coul


couldnt upload some of the clearer pics, due to the size. But this fossil could be a case of what you call credulity, ie the minds eye sees what it wants to see, ie,you jump to the conclusion its something it isn't. What do you think?
I do have it for sale on ebay, im no expert, so this fossil is kind of wasted on me
