Which Calendar do they use in Sri Lanka?

I was thinking of sending a calendar as a gift to Sri Lanka.  Does anyone know if they use "our" calendar locally, a different one or perhaps both? 

Although I mainly want to send it for the pictures would it be of any practical use to them or might they be puzzled as to why I've sent something that could be completely meaningless and useless?

I can't see why it would be of no use apart from some public holidays being different but they would presumably know it was for UK.

Thanks for the replies.  As you say, it doesn't really matter.  I wanted to send pictures of Kent to her rather than something useful and they don't seem to make Picture Postcards like they used to.
