Never in a way you brexiters thought it would. All the chamelons have been exposed, tight majority vote.Country and goverment in chaos.
It's the money men that will decide as always! What made you think they'd let the people decide-never have done in centuries!

Hold on to your hats? That's more like "control your patience"? 57 minutes? Far, far too long!

Prof. David Starkey is a true patriot. He cuts right through the froth and cr*p and tells it like it is with great insight. His description of Jeremy Corbin is so spot on!😀 It's well worth a watch....I could listen to him for hours.

Those last two words on the cover of that rag 'For Now', is wishful thinking by the rejoiners, that will never happen.

Re. The title of this thread.. I hope Celtic will post today with his thoughts. I have to say....in a way he was quite right. It is not happening in the way that I would like it to happen, but nevertheless..it is happening and we will be out, and I'll take that. So Scotland is out too, and it is now up to them if they want to try and have another Indy ref, with a view to rejoining the EU, or accept that they are part of the United Kingdom. Whatever they do, let's hope that Democracy prevails, as it did with Brexit.
I shall be having a small glass of something nice tonight to celebrate. Anyone else?

Its life jim but not as you know it,
ITS almost the End, the End is on the horizon, just around the corner, and it wont be due to brexit either.

astro, to be brushed off as them is a mildly offensive method of refering to a nation of people, which in my opinion shows the contempt you have towards Scottish people and some wonder why people take offense.
Secondly, the Scottish people voted by a majority to remain within the UK and it is the SNP who will not listen to the Scottish people and are wanting Indyref2, them and their followers to whom independence is all they are interested in.
Eventually they are likely to get their wish because people here in Scotland are getting sick to the back teeth of hearing independence independence independence all the time and referendum after referendum.
Yes they say there is a majority now wanting independence but I could take a survey which categorically is against indyref2 but like all surveys it depends on where it is taken and the people asked.

Dark Castle...you are quite right...it is wrong to assume that all Scots people are of the same mind, and that was never my intention. I am not contemptuous of the Scots in the slightest..I have been to Scotland and I love it there, and it's people are wonderful. I think in many ways you are similar to us Welsh...Wales has a rising movement wanting Independence too. I would be sad if the United Kingdom broke apart, but I can also see the attraction of having pride in one's Nation and Heritage. There is much to be said for both viewpoints. My last post on this thread was on Jan 31st of this year...and much has happened since then. I did not vote for Boris Johnson to be our PM and Even at this late hour I do not think he is going to deliver a good Brexit. He is merely a puppet for the Globalist Cabal...so who knows what will happen next year. Whatever it is, it won't be pretty. You have a good Christmas...and that goes for all on here. 🙂🙂

astro, my wife and I holiday every year in Wales as we love it and the people. Our last holiday this year in September was cut short because of the impending lockdown in North Wales.
Hopefully 2021 will be better and we will be allowed back down as we have booked three holidays in Wales in 2021 and looking forward to them.
A Merry Christmas to everyone.

Well, well, after all that's gone on, in spite of all the stunts the remainers have tried, we've finally LEFT.

Yes CeeDee...we are out! At last! It's not perfect, but it will do for now. And I have to give it to Celtic...he was right! It didn't happen the way we thought. But it's better than still being tied to Brussels. Happy New Year...!

Me too. Maybe Aus wants to dump all their banana's on us, the US- some defunct obsolete planes which we have plenty of- can always put them on our new aircraft carriers which will be obsolete b4 their built eh!. Japenese hmm well a Japenese company TAKEOVER is not a great trade deal is it!! OMG
Brexiteers keep going on about trade deals etc etc. I 've been doing trade deals for years on my own and importing! lol It's nothing new, world trade has been in exsistence since b4 Jesus , EU was a tariff FREE trade deal you silly silly people and you've just blown it.
Oh dear..... from your various postings you clearly want everything to fail. Trade deals are going through nicely thank you. And tariffs are still free as thery were for most things (just got to sort out that 'Origin stuff in ther next 2 - 7 years...). But Im sure as you seem to be the UKs leading expert on how trade was going to go (whoopssss). It time, once we are sorted, it is highly likely that the UK (with, or without the doom-mongers and nay-sayers...fingers crossed) could become the trading global hub. Free from the shackles that have for numerous reasons 'bound us'.
I am most certain (although we actually left the EU January 2020.... just finished the transition) that it didn't go the way you thought it would go. It would always be financially driven, with the elite and the privilaged getting more of what they want, but them that was a no-brainer. So went exactly as I thought it would deal at the 11th hour, etc. No, it's not perfect but neither was being in the EU. At least we get to screw everything up with out own statute books now.
So from what it appears, those dastardly Brexiters got what they wanted. And turned out reasinably well, all things considered. 🙂
