Never in a way you brexiters thought it would. All the chamelons have been exposed, tight majority vote.Country and goverment in chaos.
It's the money men that will decide as always! What made you think they'd let the people decide-never have done in centuries!

Yeah sure.
The mandate for indyref2 is now cast-iron, having been voted for by the Scottish electorate in 2016,passed by a majority in Holyrood, and now triple locked by the fact of the SNP winning a majority of Scottish seats. It was in their manifesto as policy.
The SNP is strongly committed to giving Scotland a choice on our future at the end of the Brexit process.
The SNP Scottish Government has a clear mandate to offer the people of Scotland a choice. The SNP has won two elections – the Scottish Parliament election in 2016 and the General Election last year – with an explicit commitment in our manifesto on holding a referendum. The Scottish Parliament has also endorsed that position.
The Scottish Government will not introduce legislation for an independence referendum immediately. At the end of Brexit negotiations the Scottish Government will set out its judgment on the best way forward, and on the precise time scale of the people of Scotland having a choice on our future.
But dark castle if you believe the Scottish people are not sovereign and should not be treated as an equal partner in the union? May I remind you,
Lord Cooper’s much-cited judgement in McCormack vs the Lord Advocate (1953) where he stated that “the principle of unlimited sovereignty of parliament is a distinctly English principle and has no counterpart in Scottish Constitutional Law”. Equal importance must also be given to the Lord Advocate’s own concession, “admitting the Parliament of Great Britain could not alter or repeal fundamental and essential conditions of the Acts of Union.”

Again I ask the question which was totally ignored in your reply as it is a simple YES or NO answer ! Can Nicola Sturgeon not also be accused of ignoring the Scottish people who the majority of voted to remain within the UK ?
Never mind citing this that or the other, that I am not asking. All I ask is your opinion on whether Nicola Sturgeon is ignoring the majority of Scots who voted to remain within the UK ?

no

I and many others I know would disagree with your answer !
Another thing we all think about which she said and I am a lower wage earner, she said it would not cost any more to live in Scotland than it does any where else in the UK. Does it not cost middle wage earners more now to live in Scotland than it does in the UK due to the tax they must now pay, which granted is the same as it was a couple of years ago but is still now more than their counterparts in the rest of the UK ?
In our opinion that means it costs them more to live in Scotland.

In the case of Brexit she didn't ignore the Scottish people because they voted to REMAIN. They also voted by more than double any unionist party in 2016 Scottish parliament elections as previously stated above, (with that in their manifesto) of a material change in circumstances and which people voted for.
Tax- give me peace! People in Scotland get far more up here than they do in rUK with regards benefit which offset that considerably as you know. Asking a few more pounds from the better off is of no consequence to many up here and happy to contribute. Of course Tories will always want tax cuts for themself's as that's their forte.Tories will never get in government in Scotland and neither will labour ever again with the mess they left us-PFI's for one.All their interested in is Lordships just like the tories while there country folk suffer.
This is a brexit thread as i've said before.I know it sticks in brexiteers throats cos i was right all them years ago that this won't go the way they think- AND IT ISN'T! It's a mess and high time we got out of this unfair decrepit union.

OK, it is a brexit thread and as this is a democratic country or so SNP would have us believe and as Scotland voted to stay in the UK let the UK leave the EU in whatever manner it happens and not have SNP bleating on about independence.

They must be really worried now.
