Hello to all our old friends and newcomers alike. Welcome to Bill & Charlie's Bar - the place to meet other posters and to sit and chat while you sample your favourite tipple. Plenty to drink, lots of joking but alas no smoking.

We are open all hours (hic) and run a respectable Bar. (Although I argued with Charlie until I was blue in the face over that one!) No swearing, spitting or drun..drunk...drunken beeeehaviour (hic). We have a couple of bouncers to hand ~ she comes in on Friday nights.

Teetotallers are welcome and will be treated as normal. I jest ~ soft drinks are available at the bar along with light snacks. And finally, please use the emergency exit when Bill rambles on about the good ol' days and put plugs in your ears when Charlie 'sings'.

Last week she went straight through a gap in the hedge and gave a passer-by a pedicure! 😮 :^O

How are you doing? I missed you last night and kept on working till 5.30am - then up again at 9am :O. Might be a similar pattern until Monday morning. Can't wait for next week - going to make sleeping a passionate hobby :^O

My sleeping pattern is now totally messed up.

Had to be up pretty early for the last two days...ended up falling asleep at about 10 at night, to wake up around 12....so I'm wide awake now. :_|

Oh dear - have you been asleep for only a couple of hours tonight? I think I would be able to get back to sleep again - although at the moment I think I could sleep standing up !!

Yes, I've only slept about 4 hours each night..so by 10 I'm just toppling over...but I wish I would just carry on sleeping, but after 2 hours I'm awake again.....so the cycle carries on...tonight it will be 4 again before I go to bed...but at least tomorrow I can sleep long.

Yes - seriously at the moment. I got an extension until Monday morning, but don't know how I will make it as some necessary info turned up late. I expect I will be in panic mode soon!

My shower is leaking too - from the unit itself and down the wall. I didn't realise at first - until my kitchen ceiling showed up brown stains.  When I was last in it I started to worry about whether I could get electrocuted, with all that water and electricity:O  I had to go to a neighbours for one and hopefully after the Bank holiday I might get a plumber although I know most of them never turn up so it may take a while :_|.  I'll have to spread myself around my friends for a shower for the next week or two!
