search within sellers listed items

Hi, would someone mind testing something on their listings for me? Ebay have a habit of blaming my computer (Windows Edge, Desktop) but I don't want to start clearing cookies etc, if this is the same for others.

If I select "item title" "contains" "whatever" It does find the item but the "views" are all "0" which is not the case.

If I select "Current Price" "is Equal to" "whatever" it finds nothing, which is also not true.

If I select " greater than" it works, but the "views still show as "0", which is not true.

Thanks

Interesting.

On the subject of view count (last 30 days) my searches do seem to include the counts - if you try a private browser window to see if the re-login and re-fetch of pages might make a difference, although I am doubtful.

Regards Current Price matching - seems to be a bit of road accident.

Yes, searching Greater Than does seem to work although it seems to be performing Greater-than-or-equal-to but I can accept that.

Matching equals seems to work for some values, but not others and not in any logic I can see - presumably there is some text-number conversion failing somewhere (perhaps trying to treat the decimals differently?), not sure.  Values which do seem to match for me: -

£0.99

£1.00

£1.75

£1.95

£2.35

£2.55

£2.65

plus lots of others upto £3.70

£4.85

But failed matching for values

£1.45

£1.85

£2.25

£2.49

£4.75

£6.50

£12.25 and everything higher.

I couldn't see any logic, but maybe if I stare at it long enough it might show ... like one of those magic-eye posters.

Please try price equals £1.95 and see if that also works for you ...  I guess it could just be random 🙂

Thanks for taking a look. I just tried on a tablet using chrome and it works ok. I guess clearing cookies etc is the best option.
