Unable to list on desktop for the last 2 weeks

Hi, Please can someone or Ebay help me?

 

I usualy list everyday using ready made templates, google chrome and my laptop. For the last two weeks when i try to list new items i have been having problems. I finish up my listing , click on list with displayed fees and it seems to get stuck loading then doesnt create the listing. I open ebay in a new tab and get the error message 

 

We have looked looked everywhere, looks like this page is missing, if you still need help visit our help pages. 

 

Ive done all the usual things like remove cookies, tried with firefox and also incognito mode but it still the same. 

 

Ive reached out to ebay customer service a few times but they keep telling me IT have checked and there is no issues. Ive spoke to management and they give me a link to upload a screenshot of the error message which I have done, but I have not heard anything and this was about 5 days ago. 

 

Listing on my mobile app works fine but its taking me ages to do and its driving me crazy.  

 

Can anyone recommend a fix for this please?

Apologies for the delay on this, I understand that this is not a good experience for you as a seller. However, there is work being done to get this resolved. While I'd love to provide you with an estimated fix date/time, I'm afraid that I won't be able to as the tech team hasn't confirmed an estimated fix date yet. As soon as I get further information on this, I will let you know over here.

Happening to me for the last 3 weeks everything that all the users here have described. Tried all fixes. Wiping the laptops, desktops, changing ISP`s, different browsers etc, etc etc. Very poor. Can we get this resolved ASAP. Sales have nose dived.

Very, very frustrting!!!

I just wanted to let you know that we are getting updates on this, and we are seeing improvements. While the issue is not fixed yet, we are seeing that it is not happening as often anymore. We are still collecting some data from the reported accounts, so the issue can be resolved as soon as possible. Thanks very much for your patience on this.

Thank you for the update. I do hope that the issues can be completely resolved as soon as possible, pre-listing items on my computer are still proving difficult and very frustrating. It has been going on for such a long time.

Goodness only knows how those people who run businesses are feeling, it's bad enough for those of us who simply want to make ends meet.

Fingers crossed everything can be resolved asap!

Yes, it's been happening to me for about 6 week. I guess the usual gremilns at eBay UK !

 

And I expect the same pathetic reply from the egotistical morons who claim to be "experts" on here.

not as often???

 

I'm having another frustrating afternoon of trying to list and getting this problem repeatedly. I prepared 25 items for listing yesterday and have so far managed to list 10 and spent 3 hours on this. usualy thats an hours work. Incidentaly i also list on another ecommerce site and where i used to list to ebay first you're now last due to this ongoing, highly frustrating issue. to put a financial number on it thats aprox £7500 of stock so a potential loss to ebay of £1k

Is there any difference if you try listing with fewer images, at least initially?

 

Some users on the US site seem to be getting better results listing that way.

Just letting you know here that I've just been confirmed that this issue is now fully resolved. However, if you are using a VPN, please note that you might run into the same issue again. It just happened to me now again now, no VPN in use so NO Marco, I can assure you it has not been resolved.

Could you please confirm the item number of the item you were trying to list if you managed to list it afterwards, and could you please confirm the browser you were using at that time as well? I will take a further look for you as soon as you get back to me on this.

its happening again right now, I know you havent asked me but hopefully this helps as its wasting so much time and productivity resulting in imense frustration. Heres what i do in the hope it helps :-

 

  • find similar listing in my inventory and select "Sell similar"
  • delete original images
  • select new images from computer
  • crop and adjust lighting of images
  • adjust description
  • Click 'list with displayed fees' or 'Save for later'

I then get the image posted above - but its intermitant, sometimes its fine. In addition, when the above screen hangs i cant return to ebay home page for several minutes instead i get a screen thats headed "Where's all the stuff?"

 

after 4 attempts i listed this : - eBay item number:176452124748

 

OS is Windows 10

browser is Chrome Version 126.0.6478.126 (Official Build) (64-bit)

also notes i missed, on my successfull listing i tried uploading the images in 2 lots as suggested by a previous poster. also i am not using a VPN

Sorry, I can't remember which listing it was, if it happens again I will make a note of the number and let you know. I am using Safari. 

 

Yes, I listed it afterwards. I always shut down Safari and often have to re-start my imac, that usually (but not always) works. Sometimes I have to try this a few times!

Not sure if this info is useful... I am never uploading photos when this happens. I do add photos to listings on the app on my ipad and then complete the listings on the mac.

I've just got an update on this for you, and *kittylou* the tech team confirmed to me that there is a 3rd party tool that you might be using to list items that is triggering this issue for you. Since it is an external tool that is triggering the issue, we wouldn't be able to take further actions here. 

 

goldenlolly in your case is a bit different, the tech team confirmed that in your case this is down to connection issues, they wouldn't be able to confirm what exactly, but it could network traffic, unstable connection, or slow connection. Again, because the issue comes from a connection issue, we wouldn't be able to assist any further, I'm afraid.

 

They checked the issue that was causing this before, and they confirmed that the issue has been fully resolved, they also checked for anything else that could be causing this issue from our end, but they didn't find anything. So, the issue is definitely not from our end.
