I have been an Ebay business seller for many years now, I regularly, most days am on my site processing orders, but in the last few weeks I am being constantly being asked to "Verify I am Human " , tick the pictures etc. This security measure is coming up on my site every few minutes whenever I try to open a new page, revise a listing.
Besides being very annoying, this is making me very wary that my site is being compromised or Hacked maybe.
I have the latest Chrome browser as recommended, plus 2 step verification to sign in, however this does not always work, & even when it does the above security measure still kicks in after a few minutes.
Has anyone else faced this problem and if so have you found any way to rectify it? I have contacted customer support who said they were looking into it, but it still persists.
Any help out there please???

Nope, you're not being hacked, we all come across this, identifying caravans and planes which all look the same.
It happens sproradically, and is purely a security measure to make sure the genuine owner is returning to their account.
After correctly identifying a few Giraffes and red buses, it should turn back to a single logging in with password.

Repeated Captcha requests or failures might be a sign that your browser is having problems saving cookies properly, or else a sign of a network issue. Using a VPN or a hotspot, or certain kinds of privacy software might also cause some issues.
Make sure your browser is up-to-date and has JavaScript enabled (and not blocked) and that cookies are not being blocked:
https://www.whatismybrowser.com/
Try using a different browser or a private or incognito browser window and see if you run into the same Captcha issues. If not, try manually erasing just your eBay cookies manually in your original browser.
If you are using an ad blocker, try temporarily disabling it to see if that makes a difference.
If the problem happens when signing in , try an alternative link to sign in to rule out an issue with a particular link:
https://signin.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll
If you are using a mobile browser, try changing to a different browser mode: mobile, classic or desktop. Try a desktop browser or a mobile browser in desktop mode.
Or try using the eBay app.
If you contact eBay directly, mention ALERT15299 to have your account added to the open ticket.

I am buyer and when trying to purchase items the
page comes up regularly. have to repeatedly verify myself (16 times is the record) but now have given up. Today I wanted to buy two jogging bottoms and this page came up. I cannot be bothered to buy the items now. I have notified ebay multiple time but the company never responds to anybody's complaints. Going downhill fast

All this 'verify yourself' stuff is one of the most annoying things about online shopping etc. Hope your problem has resolved itself - it is very frustrating when you just want to pop in & buy something quickly. It can take longer to get signed in than it does to do your shopping.... & I particularly dislike some of the silly phrases they use, especially 'Let's make sure it's you'....!
eburtonlab listed some possible causes & solutions which might help, if you have not already tried them.
It doesn't sound like eBay have been much help!

I sympathize with you it is really annoying and as most people in the internet community they hide behind messaging or texts and you can't ever speak to them to voice your thoughts or complaints
