I’ve just been on the phone with eBay regarding the current Seller Hub issue. They’ve confirmed there’s a system-wide bug but, as of now, there’s no fix and no estimated time frame for when it will be resolved.
I asked how sellers are supposed to process orders when all we see is a blank page, but the representative had no answer. I was told the issue could take weeks to sort out and that there’s no workaround available.
Their advice was to contact buyers manually to explain the problem — and if we’re penalised for late dispatch or non-shipment, we’ll have to contact eBay afterwards to request defect removals. Completely unacceptable.
I pointed out that, if we can’t even access our orders or buyer details, we’re effectively being forced to close our shops. I’ve also requested compensation, as it’s simply not fair to be charged shop fees when we can’t run our businesses.
Trying to make a living is hard enough without being left in the dark like this.
