Very frustrated as the new eBay app update is causing me problems
I use the “sell similar” option and it annoyingly changes my worldwide postage to European Union on every single listing

There are issues with older android devices not being compatible with the latest updates.
Try using a browser instead of the app,or better still a PC.

Hi badges_and_bits, thanks for your post.
Did you try deleting and reinstalling the app to see if that helps? If it doesn't, please let me know as it might be picking up the information from the listing you're using as template. When reinstalling the app, I'd just recommend making sure that both your iPhone's software and the eBay app are running the latest version available.

I am having the same problem - using ' sell similar' listing on PC but uploading photos from iphone ( running latest ios 18.3.2 ) & each time photos added via the app ( delted & reinstated app - latest version ) it takes out on draft on PC the uk standard postage value / price & now completely turns off international post ( previously it was just just changing it to European union from worldwide). Making listing very slow as you have to re do postage options each time. Please get someone from tech to look into it.

Same here.
Multiple issues with the sell similar function in the App since the update, it's becoming almost unusable for cloning listings.
Throws up an error saying postage needs to be 0 if using free postage, despite the copied listing obviously already having no cost, as it's free postage! Also there no longer seems to be a way to add or edit additional postage options.
I list multiple similar items, using my phone for photos and easily copied info. It's incredibly frustrating and having a big impact on productivity.
Tried all the re-installing etc, have the latest android version, no difference.
Awful update to the App! 😞

When alternating between app and web experience the postage options appear to get lost/confused.
I'm baffled to how this hasn't been effectively tested across devices by the product/development/test teams at eBay. It'll likely result in a reduced sales value 'cos the postage now limited to "Collection in person only". Vert frustrating.

Hi, have sent you a message - problems still ongoing. Reported as a Tech fault to ebay CS via Chat, on X ( twitter) ebay help & still the problems persists. Are Tech aware & can something be done to resolve quickly?
